Father’s Day Giveaway: Custom Art from JessaZG
So, Father’s Day is coming. And my husband doesn’t need a tie. Or an ashtray. Or a bowling ball. I’m not ever sure if he knows how to bowl. I really suck at bowling so I never suggested it when were dating because I wanted him to, you know, like me. Anyhoo, Father’s Day. It’s coming, I didn’t have a gift in mind. What’s a girl to do?
I took to the internet, of course. I got into a conversation with Jessa on Twitter about a totally unrelated matter (she is a social media GENIUS by the way. Gave me her thoughts on marketing this here blog and WOW! So smart.) and that led me to her site where I saw this.

Aren’t these gorgeous? I love this take on the old fashioned silhouette idea. It gives it such pop and makes it less sentimental and more contemporary. As I wiped the drool off my chin and kept scrolling through the different designs, I noticed that she can do a silhouette superimposed on the DC skyline. Oh, no she didn’t? Oh, yes she did! And I’m all Must! Have! Yo!
I really need to start working on these outbursts where I leave the English language behind. Sorry about that.
Anyway, the very day I was getting ready to email Jessa about ordering a DC print for Father’s Day, she emailed me about this giveway. Perfect! So I found a clear shot of C from the side and sent it to her and this is what she came up with.

Do you LOVE this??????? I love this. Love it. It is so perfect for my husband. The skyline from the city we both love with the silhouette of the boy we brought into the world here. Just so perfect.
